How do I put an animated GIF in Signature?

Could someone please give me the HTML code to allow me to insert a GIF animation, please.  Or suitable alternative instructions if that is not the way to achieve it.

Oh don't be worrying about it @Cairdeas Old Father Ted was joking ( I think - 'tis hard to tell).  But you were half right - I am of Ulster-Scots stock but my Passport says I am British.   

Do I take it you have a Scottish connection?  I see that Càirdeas is a Scottish Gaelic word, and there is a Scottish Folk Band by that name.    Google is great!! Long live Google!

Hi @Toby   No I don't think I am the first.  Is Jonsie's flag not an animation?   However, I see the complaints have started already so I have removed it and won't make the same mistake again.
