So Ray went out to get eggs YESTERDAY for the grandchildren. He had been intending to get these a week or so ago. He said 'life got in the way'....I muttered he simply forgot.

Long story short, Not an egg to be had anywhere. So he got inventive and bought a big old fashioned jar of sweets add lollies. Also a big tin of Celebration chocolates.

Yes, @Cleoriff - local Sainsbury had oodles 2 weeks ago, yesterday: NADA. Our youngest has just found the ones he requested (hidden about the house), and distributed them to others after retaining the one he wanted 👍

I think I bought them in Lidl several weeks back, just to be sure no last minute logistics screw up left us with none.
