Yes, BBC and ITV have changed all of the planned programmes.
It's been announced there will be an 8 day period of mourning.

I think he came home to die really. He wanted to be at the Palace with his wife.
At least he wasn't alone and had her at his side. Hoped for him to reach the 100.
May he rest in peace!
Is there any tradition now? I heard about the ceremonies after the Queen's death, but not yet about what happens if other members of the family die.

No, I've seen many people talking about his interests including Sir David Attenborough. (who was also in the Navy as was Prince Philip)

The funeral yesterday planned by the Duke himself was everything you would expect. He said he didn't want a State funeral or anything too pompous. This was just right.
Only 30 guests as per Covid guidelines. His coffin on a landrover, he had designed and had built for this purpose.
Two very poignant moments for me.
In later years HRH developed a love of carriage racing. In attendance was his carriage with his two favourite horses pulling the carriage. On the carriage were his gloves and cap.
Then there was the image of the Queen, arriving with her maid of honour and sitting on her own throughout the funeral.
R.I.P Sir. Thanks for the service you gave to this country and the commonwealth. Also thanks for the support you gave to the Queen for 73 years.

The Queen looked so small and fragile that day, it kinda broke my heart 😞

The Royal Family meant a lot to me whne i was a kid. Dont know why . Didnt have a tele til I was about 4. But they featured in my life. Something special. May be cos I had an unusal family set up. Watching their life was warming. I never knew Prince Philip was a radical tho, that was interesting to learn
