I thought it was excellent. Mostly because it was just great to see the characters back on the screen again (I've read all the books, so I know what happens and it's more about the story telling than the story itself for me), but I think they handled some aspects of the plot perfectly. The relationships between the Lannisters are just such a driving force for the series. And Arya continues to be my favourite character 
Yes I can see her role becoming more and more pivotal !
Can't wait to see the look on the faces when they clap eyes on Daenerys Targaryen, the 'Mother of Dragons', her three dragons and her army of Unsullied.
