Hi Word Finders and welcome to the fifth Word Hunt Diamond.
The game is open to all members.
Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted with a target number of words to find using only the letters in the grid.
This week`s "diamond" is as follows:
N
A E
I O J
C T
B
This week`s target is 58 words using only the letters in the diamond.
Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter O.
No proper names are allowed.
Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, TOTE wouldn`t be allowed].
Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter O
Only one word per post.
Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.
There is one nine-letter word using all the letters in the grid.
Regular updates will be given on each page [so as to avoid scrolling back] of the words found and the number of words still to be found
Last week, nine players - @Cleoriff ; @EmilieT ; @gmarkj ; @pgn ; @jonsie ; @Bambino ; @AnnieM ; @Marjo ; @BobM
found all 67 target words, and eight of them found an additional 26 words not in the list in the source used in compiling the game.
This game is open to all members.
New members, and those who have not played before, are welcome to join the "regulars" in this week`s Word Hunt Diamond [game 5].
Can you, the members, bust this week`s Word Hunt Diamond and also find additional words?
Good luck everyone

@AnnieM wrote:Ohh... I didn't read your post properly @Cleoriff . You just meant to have another go at one, didn't you! It's not easy for me to get on here during the day so I'm being a bit over-keen tonight - sorry!
Not a problem @AnnieM It just made me laugh and I needed that tonight
Thanks @Mi-Amigo for another great Word Diamond. I do love these.
On that note, I'm off to bed. Goodnight all xx

Thank you @Cleoriff ; @Marjo ; @gmarkj ; @Bambino ; @AnnieM ; @BobM ; and @jonsie between you, you found all 58 words in the list in the source I use for the game.
In addition, @AnnieM ; @jonsie ; @BobM ; @Cleoriff ; between them found 13 words not in the list.
I hope that all of those who played enjoyed this game and will play along with the next one, which will not start until next Tuesday.
I have researched a couple of game and can offer
either one with a target of 73 words [with no S] and some obscure words
or one with a target of 67 words, which has an S and the target inc plurals, and some obscure words.
There is plenty of time, so please post which game you would prefer next time.

I will go with the majority. However, I do think those with an S are easier as you can add to make it plural. Not sure that stretches your brain as much?
Thank you for the comments on the next game.
Good point. I think that the one with an S is easier; and the one with a 73 word target is harder - with an almost equal number of four-, five-, and six- letter words, as well as the usual nine-letter, so it might be more of a challenge to find all of them in the list.
But, as the games are for the members, and I just set them up and run them, I`ll leave the decision to the majority.

Yes, I think go for the harder one. As I said earlier, the one with S is easier to just add plurals. Not much brain work in that...
