Hi Word Hunters and welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond.
As this is the 15th game and the last one in 2019, it is an "end of the year challenge"
The game is open to all members.
Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted with a target number of words to find using only the letters in the grid.
This week`s "diamond" is as follows:
T
E C
P G R
N I
A
This week`s target is 90 words - using only the letters in the diamond - and includes one 9-letter word and six 8-letter words to find.
Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter G.
No proper names are allowed.
Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, GANG wouldn`t be allowed].
Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter G
Only one word per post.
Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.
There is no time limit on this game and will be open [if not solved by then] tomorrow [New Year`s Eve] and Wednesday [New Year`s Day].
Regular updates will be given on each page [so as to avoid scrolling back] of the words found and the number of words still to be found.
This game is open to all members. New members, and those who have not played before, are welcome to join in with previous and regular players.
The Challenge:
Can you, between you, crack this week`s Word Hunt Diamond -
Find the 90 words in the list [in the source used for the game]- the biggest target in a game so far?
Find 108 words, in total, and break the record for the total number of words found in a game?
Find 30 words not in the list, and break the record of 29 extra words found in a game?
Good luck everyone

I've done so much of this over the break, I can't imagine why I've overlooked EATING.

CERING is correct and is the six-letter word to complete this Word Hunt Diamond...
EATING, oddly enough, is not in the list [no idea why not] so is counted as word not in the list
Thanks to @Cleoriff ; @Anonymous ; @pgn ; @Bambino ; @jonsie ; @gmarkj for playing...
At the beginning of the game, I set a challenge -
Find 90 words in the list in the source used for the game - the biggest target so far - done;
Find more than 108 words, in total - most ever found in a game - record broken with 133 words found
Find more than 30 words not in list - most ever found in a game - record broken with 43 words found...
You truly are worthy of the title - wordsmiths Congratulations everyone.
I hope you all enjoyed the game and there will be another - slightly easier one - next week...

Wow I never expected CERING to be the missing word! I knew it was correct but we all do a lot more eating than looking for cering on a birds beak.
Anyway, I enjoyed that, although I did find it a bit hard (over the Christmas period) when my brain goes into a decline
Well done everyone.

ADVANCED NOTICE:
Word Hunt Diamond Game 16.
After the tough challenge of Game 15, the next Word Hunt Diamond - Game 16 - should be easier.
The diamond grid will be posted on Tuesday 07 January. The target will be 65 words in the list [in the souce used for the game] to find - with, as usual, one nine-letter word to find. Although there is no 8-letter word to find this time, there are loads of five-letter and four-letter words in the list.
Of course, you, the members, will no doubt also find those words not in the list.
The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members. I hope everyone - the "regulars", new members, and those who have not played before - will come and join in to play and have fun...
