I've been moderated once when I included a link connected to iOS jail-breaking.
And one thread closed as it had run its course.
What I have seen recently is a lot of threads being resolved !

jailbreaking isn't technicaly illegal so I don't believe you should be moderated for that.
It was because my link led to the official jail-breaking site and the powers that be didn't want members to follow it, jail-break and then have possible problems.
No it is not illegal.
Apple may refuse warranty repairs but as we know a restore takes the jail-break away and no grey area on warranty remains.
