Starting a new thread (before the last one gets split again)...:smileytongue:

It is 2018, The year of the Halo... Like it or hate it, it will be implemented as part of new FIA rules

None of the 2018 cars have been revealed yet (that happens in February) but this is how it will look

Image result for Fi Mercedes cars with Halo

Most drivers' aren't keen but are having to toe the party line...

the HYS isn’t impressed by another street circuit!

Still to be confirmed. Lots of anger that India isn't being considered.

Brazil F1 is a bit confusing re the timings. The F1 app obviously has no idea of BST.

It's still showing pre BST time. Good job I double checked on Sky F1.

I could have missed all the Practice, Qualy and race times.

For those watching, these are the revised times

In 2020 there will be a new F1 street track. Based in Hanoi, Vietnam it will look like this

So looking at those straights there will be plenty of opportunities for overtaking

Sky Sports are running a poll as to who is the best driver this season. You can vote on the link if interested.

Considering Lewis Hamilton is not a popular driver, even among the Brits,(allegedly) the poll makes for interesting reading

https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/11541938/f1-2018-who-is-the-best-driver-of-the-season?fbclid...

At the time I posted this he is leading the pol with 7.7K votes

2nd Max 4.3K

3rd Leclerc 2.9K

4th Alonso 1.7K

5th Magussen 1.5K etc etc etc

Vettel is down in 11th (below Raikkonen)

Stroll is at the bottom....

I like the look of the long straights and then there's the hairpins to mix it up. That's how a circuit should be. Looking forward to that one!
