Thought I would start off a thread, bit of friendly banter not too heavy and an opportunity to express your ideas about your favourite team.

What are you hoping for in the January transfer market?

As a Liverpool fan I am hoping for cover for Mane and the front 3.

@Mi-Amigo I think he's definitely proven himself with the success at Rangers. And I think the Villa squad's too good to get relegated. But saying that is a double-edged sword, as if they do, I think it will damage his prospects. But I agree, as long as he can prove himself, he's lined up for the Liverpool job whenever Klopp decides to leave. 

By the way, even though a Welshman, I was (regretfully 😂) raised as a Man United fan. Follow the Swans too, though.

I've asked this in the lounge but probably better here. Are England's group made up of a bunch of amateurs?

They seem to thrashing everyone with a large majority?!

They can't do it against good teams

Bit like ManU (although we struggle against all teams!)

All the groups have teams picked from different pools according to world rankings, so that all the better teams are not in the same group. It's the same with nearly every sporting event. 

It's a load of pants to watch though and a complete waste of time.
