Thought I would start off a thread, bit of friendly banter not too heavy and an opportunity to express your ideas about your favourite team.
What are you hoping for in the January transfer market?
As a Liverpool fan I am hoping for cover for Mane and the front 3.

Apparently Man City dropped out of the negotiations for Ronaldo and Man U stepped up to the plate. The fans look pleased anyway. 😎

I'm actually surprised about Ronaldo going back to Man U, but he could help them win the title. He is still a brilliant player and will be spectacular in bursts, it's how he fits in with the other players though, and, just wait till Solskjaer subs him off! 🤣

I'm happy
It was actually AF who pointed out to CR7 that his cult-like status in the United history books would have taken a massive hit if he had gone to City
I watched him growing up at Old Trafford and will still enjoy watching him even at this late stage of his career
Other insignificant clubs' supporters love to hate us so there will be a great atmosphere with crowds being back...BRING IT ON!

So there you have it folks, it's less about the football & more about history/ego stroking, but that's the point, the big game ain't the big game any more, it's more Big B(r)other these days.

And he was right. I don't particularly like Ronaldo, (never forgiven him for getting Rooney sent off during a world cup game)...however there is no doubting his massive talent which matches his massive ego and I think he will fill the club to capacity and the clubs when they play away.
I just hope Man U don't have to sell off any good players to pay for him.

They`d sell their own grannie to keep that over-rated, over-paid egotist...
Yeh supporters of other football teams might love to hate Man Utd, but that`s part and parcel of the rivalry, but doesn`t alter the fact that other football teams have more talent than Mr Big-head who will do nothing to improve the chances of Man Utd achieving any rewards in the coming season, in my opinion - wait and see.

See, I find that legacy thing a bit weird. Do Man U fans criticise Peter Schmeichel as much when he ended up at Man City? Second time back at the club never really works out though CR is a different case. I'm not sure it will be title threatening signing but is a solid signing to keep up the pressure on Man City/Chelsea/Liverpool and er, Leicester.
