Welcome to the sixth in the series of Challenges.
Between October 1962 and May 1970, The Beatles released 24 singles, 13 EPs, 13 Albums, with a total of 293 tracks.
COLOUR IN LYRICS CHALLENGE
Below is an alphabetical list of colour-related words which appear in officially released Beatles songs.
The Challenge is to find which word appears in which song, or songs.
Hints/clues:
Some words appear in more than one song. In such cases, the number of songs in which the word is in is shown in [x].
Some songs contain more than one of the words on the list. In these cases, you need to find each word and post each answer in a separate post.
Note: you are not looking for other colour-related words which may be in the lyrics of Beatles` songs but those in the list. Should you find any of the words in songs not on my list, as in the previous Challenges, I will re-check my sources and give my verdict with an explanation as to my decision
No "live" recording; BBC sessions; Polydor records; bootlegs; unreleased tracks.
Rules:
Please, no googling, wiki, social media, iplayer, youtube, personal record collection [e.g. album sleeves] in search of the answers. Of course, listening to songs is permitted.
You may submit one answer for one word in one song per post - not two or more songs where the same word appears - and can only post one answer per day.
Each entry should be submitted as [colour-related word] in [name of song it appreas in].
This Challenge will open at 11pm tomorrow [Monday 13 May] when you can submit your first answer up to 11pm Tuesday, when the first results will be announced.
On each subsequent day/night, answers can be submitted after midnight until 11pm.
The list of colour-related words is given in the next post.
Good luck.

Oh No...no-one speaks, meows or moves come THAT witching hour @Mi-Amigo
By the way, I hope, if everyone agrees, we can stick to 11pm for the next challenge?
I know it doesn't matter for the night prowlers of the forum ( @Glory1 @jonsie ) but I'm not one of those. Then there are the people who have to get up for work( @MI5 @pgn)
@Bambino though, never bothers with the 'fastest finger first' malarky and posts when the hell the mood takes him
Also, if we are looking for new members 11pm-10pm seems a far more sociable time?

@pgn`s pub quiz.
I have checked through all the chart positions for all the Beatles singles and can give a definitive answer.
In the 1960s, New Musical Express [NME]; Melody Maker [MM]; and Disc all had different charts; and the industry`s Record Retailer [RR] used an average from NME, Melody Maker, and Disc for their chart, which, in turn, was used for the BBC radio programme Pick of the Pops [POTP].
From August 1967, Disc used Melody Maker chart.
From February 1969, the British Phonographic Industry engaged BMRB to compile a weekly chart which was used by Music Week [successor to Record Retailer] and BBC.
No 1 singles with "love" or "loves" in title:
She Loves You - NME, RR, MM, Disc, POTP
Can`t Buy Me Love - NME, RR, MM, Disc, POTP
All You Need Is Love - NME, RR, MM, Disc, POTP
The Official Chart Company records
Real Love only reached No 4.
So the correct answer is three songs. The quizmaster was correct.
However, with regards to how many No 1 singles the Beatles had, this depends on which chart is used.
NME = 17; RR = 15; MM = 18; Disc = 17 [13 + 4 from MM]; POTP = 18 [16 + 2 BMRB].

I am more than happy to stick with answers to be submitted after 11pm with results given at 10pm, as this might well attract new members to join in, but will leave the decision to the majority.
