Better late than never!
The Elf on the Shelf thread is here. I'm sure we all know the story of these naughty little elves by now, but if you don't:
The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is a 2005 children's picture book, written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell, and illustrated by Coë Steinwart. The book tells a Christmas-themed story, written in rhyme, that explains how Santa Claus knows who is naughty and nice. It describes elves visiting children from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, after which they return to the North Pole until the next holiday season.
Each December, many children wake up every morning to find that elves have caused riots overnight in their homes! It's something which my sister is doing for my two nephews. So, she's kindly offered to supply me with photos each day of what the elves have gotten up to 😆.
If you're or someone you know is doing The Elf on the Shelf this year, please join me in sharing the photos below as the month goes on...
I will not be including any photos apart from the Elves and their crime scenes. Important to not share somebody's face/personal details (e.g. my nephews), for example, without their permission.
I hope you enjoy the updates! I'm looking forward to everybody else's too.
