Two class-action lawsuits started for deliberately slowing older phones.

Good for them. I hope more do the same.
Apple must take it's customers for fools issuing statements like this
"Apple said on Wednesday that it did slow down phones as part of a new power-management feature".

This sounds almost like the car emissions control fiasco... Software controls to make passing the test with favourable results inevitable...

And next September we will have the same old, same old. Add to that the same people posting on an Apple thread asking where's my phone?
Amazes me that so many people are willing to be conned out of £1000+

Apple aren't totally wrong @Cleoriff. They manage to con them out of £1,000+ for a phone they couldn't pay me and many others £1,000 to own....

Ah yes but you are one of the sensible ladies who doesn't need to try and impress people or view the iPhone as a status symbol... 😉
