Welcome to the next in the series of Challenges:

                                      THE ALTERNATIVE TITLES CHALLENGE

Some of the well-known Beatles`s songs began with different "working titles"; some UK albums initially had different suggested titles; some UK albums were released in other countries with different titles.

The Challenge is can you identify which alternative title refers to which song, UK album, or UK album released in another country?

Below, in three separate posts, are the alternative titles to:

40 SONGS; 13 UK ALBUMS; and 15 UK ALBUMS released in other countries.

Hint: some ALBUMS, released in the UK, had more than one suggested title.

RULES: please no googling, wiki, website, social media searches for the answers

You may post one answer from one catagory - Songs; or UK Albums; or UK Albums in other country - in each post but not one from each catagory. You may only post one entry per day.

Entries should state which catagory, the alternative title, and what it refers to

[for example, using the famous example "scrambled eggs", which is not in the Challenge, would read:

SONG: "scrambled eggs" = Yesterday ]

Entries for each day will be open from midnight until 11pm.

The Challenge will not be open until midnight tonight [Sat/Sun 30/31 March 2019].

Results will be announced at 11pm with a list of answers still to be found in each catagory.

Not even in my wildest dreams did I expect to get such a warm reaction to this Challenge slight_smile .

Thanks to those who have said - six hours before an answer can be posted - that they will be taking part;

and hopefully @jonsie , @pgn , and @MusicIan , who were among the regulars on the previous Challenge, will also be joining;  and thanks to @TallTrees and @liggerz87 , who, although they have said, at this stage, won`t be taking part, are interested and have shown support for those who will thumbsup

This is going to be fun and I have a feeling that there is going to be some friendly and possibly amusing banter over some of the answers tongue_winking

@Mi-Amigo  This rule you've written is confusing: 'You may post one answer from one catagory - Songs; or UK Albums; or UK Albums in other country - in each post but not one from each catagory. You may only post one entry per day.'

Should it not say 'in each post but only one from each category'?

@Bambino   Thank you for pointing this out. This was an error on my part and apologise for any confusion caused.

What I meant was that only one answer may be given in each post, with only one answer from only one category of the member`s choice, not one answer from two or three categories in that post.

I hope that clarifies this.

@Mi-Amigo  If the rule is only one post from one category per day, then this Challenge is going to take some time. Fine by me.:smileywink:

@Bambino

Pleased you are OK with the rule, as it gives everyone a chance of going for easier or harder ones each day - as with the Song Lyrics Challenge - even though it might take some time to complete.

Nice to have you aboard for this one thumbsup

Love it @Cleoriff and @Glory1

To clarify, everyone will have from midnight until 11pm Sunday to post their first answer, when I will post

the results. Then, after midnight Sunday, everyone can post their next answer, and so on....

Would everyone please check the revised/clarified rules on posting - as shown above in reply to @Bambino . Thank you.

And Good Luck everyone come the midnight hour.....

So, @Mi-Amigo, to simplify a little:

You are looking for a total of 68 answers, either

a SONG title from your SONG list = actual released song title, or

an ALBUM title from either of your ALBUM lists (UK or non-UK) = actual UK album release title?

40 songs and

28 albums

68 answers

Thanks!

PS. One album title has a typo in it: "Weltberühmten" innocent
