Actor named to play the next Batman & Superman Film.

So Ben Affleck has been named to play the next Batman along side the current Superman actor Henry Cavill.

Im not convinced Ben will bring the darkness and grittyness to the Batman role that Christian Bale did.

What do you think ?

Heath shone in that role - actually he quite unnerved me !!

Jack Nicholson was the best Joker IMO, followed by the original Joker, Cesar Romero.

As for Batman himserlf, the best one in recent history was Michael Keaton IMO, he had the best suit.

I agree Jack brought a kind of comical quirky scary side to Joker.

However Michael Keaton killed the Batman role.

I know you are aware of the suits owning one yourself

Who was the worst Batman? IMO it was Val Kilmer in Batman Forever, also, IMO George Clooney was too old to be both Batman and Bruce Wayne in Batman and Robin... I know my friend Pat would kill me for saying that, she's in love with George Clooney, and some bloke called Paul Hollywood who does a cookery show apparently.

I think they all have brought something different to the role in their own way.

Personally i think Christian Bale brought something gritty , dark and real to the character and so remains my choice.

I have George Clooney as the worst Batman followed closely by Val Kilmer. Not much in either of them to be honest. I'm not too convinced that Ben Affleck will be able to convincingly portray the darker side of Batman's character.
