Regarding spaceX, the rocket performed amazingly above what they wanted to do with it, a rocket ... Able to hover for a good few minutes AFTER engine failure, then come down in a horizontal config, then swing up for landing burn on 1 failing engine .. wow. Worth also noting that with mars gravity.. it probably would've landed on point.

Second the planets being close... Just wait to see how close the look tomorrow.. and how bright!

Best I could get on my old lens, will set up the telescope for tomorrow.

I was actually able to see it tonight but my hands shake far too much to get a decent photo.
