Yea. Had family down there but thankfully they were not in Water Street. They rang to say they were OK
They had to get 4 people from under the car

Such a shocking thing to happen on what should have been a real day of celebration.
I also had friends lining the street waiting for the Liverpool bus
This same family were at the Hillsborough disaster. They rang me to say they were ok but obviously in a state of shock.
Thoughts are with everyone who was injured and affected ❤️

Heard some of the reports of this, and truly shocked and sickened by what happened.
Thoughts are with the families and friends of everyone involved.

This is why I don't "do" football, the fandom is populated by complete idiots.

Absolutely shocking and disgusting beyond belief!
This type of atrocity seems to be the new weapon of choice for the insane these days
I'm just glad it wasn't so much worse

The fans were exemplary. Over 100,000. And until we hear fully from the police we should not comment or speculate.
I had family and friends down there, ardent Liverpool Fans
Actually, I find your remarks bordering on offensive

I also had friends there. The same people were at the Hillsborough disaster. They contacted me to say they were ok but very shaken up.

Tailgating an ambulance which was trying to get to a heart attack victim is a new low
Otherwise the driver, apparently 'high' on drugs, wouldn't have got through the police cordon
And in answer to @Anonymous this was nothing to do with football, just a moron spotting a large crowd of people celebrating

I had a post removed yesterday for saying exactly what the police had announced. No PM to tell me the reason for removal.
