Went to MacDonalds

Received a free 3 chicken selects on a text. Popped in to collect and Macdonalds deny knowing anything about it and won't give me the free food item.  Checked the small print and it's fine. Macdonalds definitely don't have any details of this on there system. Thanks for the waste of time

@Kingbalders I think it has something to do with whether the MacDonalds you went to has a drive-thru or not, or some such nonsense like that.

McDonalds do know about it, and sounds like the McDonalds is playing funny games.. I would tweet @McdonaldsUK and complain, also tag @o2uk in the tweet as well. #

You can't use the voucher at the Drive-Thru windows, but it can be used in a store with a drive thru.

Just had it confirmed on Twitter this only applies to some stores and not all McDonalds, mostly in town centres or shopping centres. 

Bit of a con of an offer, and a complete waste of time for 99% of customers as 99% of McDonalds are now drive throughs...
