assigned uername-email account

on creating an account I was assigned a username, which is linked to an 02 email account. I was unable to update to my own email account as it's already associated with a different 02 account. How do I sign into this email account to view documents that have been sent? Or how to sync this account to my other current one?

O2 did away with their "e-mail for customers" service a long time ago, unless the VM/O2 merger means there has been a change.
