No service

Might sound stupid but I have just put a SIM card in a new iPhone I got for my wife but we have no wifi yet in the house. Is this why I am getting no service on the phone as thought 3G would take over like my phone ?

@Simmo Your lack of WiFi would have nothing to do with your sim card. You may need to call customer service to have the sim activated. Try 0800 587 4005 first.

I have not fully paid my bill because I need to add a spending cap on my child's account. Why can this not be done online baring in mind 02 are only taking emergency calls. My child was able to rack up a £65 phone bill on games. Very frustrating 02!
