It means the settings have been sent and stored a number of times and there is nowhere to save the new settings you are requesting. You need to go into your phone settings and delete them to make room for the new settings to be saved.

Hi there.

The settings you're referring too are basically Access points - or gateways to the internet through your mobile handset - much like your Wireless router that you use to connect your PC or Laptop with.

Imagine having about 15 wireless routers sitting on your living room table, and you're trying to get connected to one of them - which one would you connect too? Chances are you, or your computer would get confused and not do it correctly.

This is pretty much what's happening with your handset at the moment.

So, to simplify things all we have to do is delete the un-needed access points!

http://mobileguide.o2.co.uk/devices/device.jsp?deviceId=433&tab=8&step=2&settingId=629

Here you'll find an informative guide on how to setup your device access points to connect to O2 WAP - follow each instruction carefully however just after STEP 5 where you "Highlight 'Data accounts' and press 'Select' (left softkey)." make sure you delete ALL the access points in there BEFORE proceeding to step 6.

OPTIONS > DELETE) - some of them maybe labelled O2 PREPAY, O2 WAP, ORANGE WAP etc and you'll have to delete them all once at a time.

You might also want to make a cuppa tea whilst you're doing it too!

Once you've done that, turn your handset off and then back on again and try accessing your browser on the internet - if it works, fantastic! If not, go back and try again making sure you haven't done anything like putting 'zero' instead of the letter 'o' or capital letters instead of lower-case.

When you're up and running do the same for your MMS settings:

http://mobileguide.o2.co.uk/devices/device.jsp?deviceId=433&tab=8&step=2&settingId=631

When you get to STEP 13, make sure you do the same - delete all the access points in there (other than the one you will have just created) and then proceed to STEP 14.

Like last time, when done - restart your handset again and send yourself a picture message.

...

Don't worry I know it sounds confusing, but it should take you about ten minutes to do and you'll be up and running before you know it!

Let me know if you have any problems.

Cheers

Ash
