o2 killed my Yahoo account

Anonymous
Not applicable
I just signed up to pay monthly with o2 and asked them send the bill to my personal Yahoo email account.

As soon as I left the shop I lost all the sent items from my Yahoo account AND it also sent spam to everyone in my address book.

So now I'm a viagra dealer and everyone I know past and present will have an offer from me.

This is a serious breach of privacy by o2 and will not be tolerated.

There is no way that at the exact same time I got a new phone contract, someone else hacked my account. What are the odds?

No coincidence.
The date and time on the till receipt from o2 is EXACTLY the same as the error on my Yahoo account.

Two things happened the EXACT time unrelated but seem releated that must mean they cannot be a coincidence!!!

They're looking into it.

I have to laugh at the audacity of this lot. I called the 02 store where it happened, called head office, sent various emails to various departments - each time demanding they call me.

I got an email saying "sorry but our preferred method of contact is email but you can call us on the following numbers" lol. How pathetic. They are a phone company. A few years ago they were BT Cellnet.
