Hey guys

I just realised that I can use my iPhone to direct-dial my friends in Brazil. I love how awesome this technology is!! But... get this... O2 are charging £1.50 a minute for me to use this feature, even though it's free for me to call numbers in the UK!!! How outrageous is that?!?!

Steve has created this wonderful device, with all of these amazing features and possibilities, and O2 have crippled it by making me pay for what I use. What is the point in having such a cutting edge phone if I can't even use it to do everything that it's *marketed* as being possible to do, without having to pay more than my £35 a month? I'm fed up of all of these misleading adverts and hidden charges. It's ridiculous!!!

I say that I should ask for my PAC code and move to another company... *AND* write to WATCHDOG!!!! Then O2 will see who's boss!!! I could even do an online petition!!! Who's with me?!?!

I'm really angry that when I get my new iPhone I will be stopped from using its full potential.

St.Steve has given us the ability to watch all these wonderful iAds (TM) and I am frightened I will not be able to view them all.

Doesn't O2 realise that all of us who are forced to live this hum drum existence need entertainment. - even the Romans gave their people free bread and circus. Not being able to watch these iAds (TM) will only cause frustration to me and many people and that could bring Revolution and bloodshed to our streets.

I would not like to be the CEO of Telefonica when that happens

May I ask what age you are? It seems you're extremely young and not fully matured by your stupid thread titles. "ZOMG!" - "omg" "02" - "o2" "!!!11!!one!" - "!".

Grow up. Posting here isn't going to do anything. Call them up.

Jack Seems to me that you are not getting the idea of this thread

You have been around this forum long enough to realize that this is intended as a pun on all the other stuff going on

Also Remember: Growing old is inevitable - growing up is optional

@jack.downing. Read the post again, slowly and thoroughly, and you will see how silly your response is! 😐

It's called humour. :robotindifferent:

Perhaps people aren't seeing the fun side of this thread because it's in the middle of the 'oh so serious' stuff!

I think that they either can't read, or just can't be bothered to read and digest what has been written.

Shame really, I suppose we should feel sympathy.

According to Apple Insider:

"iPhone users are more educated and affluent. 49 percent of iPhone users have a college education"

So we must have the other 51%

I did fully read the original post. It is generally known that people who use "ZOMG", and replace exclamation marks with saying "one" are immature and too young to be on these forums.
