Not too bad for anyone coming from a Z1 or Z2, Z3 users may not see the immediate benefits on this release but for the older models this is a worthy update with the snapdragon 810, Triluminous 1080p, 3gb ram and 32gb storage.
Comes with a leaflet telling you how to claim a free set of hi-res headphones and other audio content.

No, this is not a worthy update to the z3, to the z1 and 2 , yes.
But when the verizon customers are getting a 2k panel, and Exmor RS sensor, this release is a bit of a slap in the face.
Should have built up stock of the 2k panels and sensors, stuck the remaining 1080p panels in upcoming mid ranged devices, and released the true z4 in September worldwide.
As it is, Sony have 2 massively different hardware configs under 3 different names, and ALL are their latest flagship???
One Sony indeed....

Expensive when compared to Carphone Warehouse's O2 tariffs who also has a choice of 3 colours. Have been waiting for this to be released so that I can upgrade but I'm really quite disappointed with O2's pricing and the fact they only have the black handset.

Guess I'm off to Carphone Warehouse at the weekend to save myself £130 over the 24 month contract

Go with what suits you.
I prefer refresh and the ability to apply an O2 discount to my account.
Neither of which are available from CPW, but if it suits you, go for it.
tbh, I would probably wait for more colour options though.....
