Solved: Wifi dongle

hi can anyone help.want to use my laptop on holiday to Malaysia and hotel has no internet, can anyone advise if a dongle bought in the uk would work and if so what would be the best one, thanks

As long as your dongle was unlocked to accept any network sim card and you purchased a local sim card with data plan when abroad you will be fine.
Malaysia uses 900/1800/2100 same as UK.

Only Hotel Reception has wifi, staying in a sea villa which guests posting on trip adviser say there is no wifi in villas
