Samsung Galaxy...no MMS

After 9 years trouble free use I recommended o2 to my brother who promptly got a Samsung Galaxy on a 24 month deal, after having it 2 weeks he noticed that his new phone wouldn't send or receive mms messages.
After umpteen calls to customer services who checked and sent new settings decided that his sim was at fault.
a week later he received his new sim, after activation he discovered that it still wasn't sending or receiving mms messages.
He called them back today to complain that it still wasn't working properly and customer services told him that he's now had the phone 29 days and cannot return the phone for replacement.
Surely this is an ongoing problem from weeks ago.
Come on O2,get your finger out and send him a replacement phone, either that or im jumping ship when my contract finishes Smiley Mad

Good news Fozzie, reading back through the thread I had a laugh at the incompetant users who were slagging off the phones and O2 slight_smile
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Just followed these instructions for my Samsung Note. I had the wap.o2.co.uk in by default but missing settings were the MMSC and MMS proxy and port. Now working perfectly.
