Priority List - Anyone else experiancing problems?

Anonymous

Hi,

I've been under the impression that my status should be GOLD. I've been with O2 since Febraury 2009, so my 18 month contract is almost nearing the end but I have been trying to get an early upgrade to the phone I want but i'm supposedly on Silver!

I have been made more irrate by calling customer services who have confirmed that looking at my account my monthly spend is well over the minimum £50 threshold for GOLD but according to O2 customer care via email in whatever part of the world they are based they have advised that my adverage monthly spend is £46.87, now not being funny but my bill is usually around £77.34 and has been since the begining of my contract.

So does anyone have any ideas what I do next? Or should I once again leave O2 thanks to their crap customer service from somewhere else around the world?

Thanks in advance

Well the obvious thing to do would be to work out your level (based on the criteria on the priority list site). That way you can check whether O2's calculation is wrong. If it's wrong then send them you figures with a complaint.

I think she is suggesting O2 uses foreign call centres.

I'm suggesting that O2, as admited by the guy in their UK call center that the emails are answered from India.

I have 4 times now sent a complaint breaking down the figures with and without VAT and yet I get some nonsense back from them. Like with every offshore company they give them a script and if your question doesn't quite fit the answers they have they just feed you the website answers that you've already been through.

The best bit about all of it, is my customer service number is 402 which I believe is the customer line for Gold and Platinum customers.

Angie,

As you have found out, O2 has UK call centres and they are generally very helpful.

My own experience of emailing O2 CS was a painful one, I am with you on that.

I have now sent an email to their complaints department and I have sitting here fingers crossed that they can actually provide me with a satisfactory answer to my questions.

I did as advised an attached evidence, which really O2 should have without me having to provide it but I have done both in the mail and as an attachment to it too.

Thanks for the replies.

Cheers
