I've just taken delivery of a **65*** Škoda Fabia with Android Auto support. When I connect my phone (Sony Xperia 5) everything works fine. (Just saying that first so nobody says that the electronics in the car don't work.) When I connect my wife's phone, Oppo model CPH2211, the phone functionality works: it'll handle phone calls and SMS etc. everything works except the car's screen display doesn't show the map and Google navigation stuff like it does with my phone.
I've ensured that the latest version of Android Auto is installed; I've spent what seems like hours looking at settings; has anyone got a solution for me?
In case it helps…
Oppo CPH2211_11
Android v 13
Basebuild version M_V3_P10
Kernel version 4.19.191+

Google will tell you that there are many issues with Android auto and some, less than mainstream phones.
It could still be the car that requires a software upgrade though so don't dismiss that just because one phone works fine.

It might be worth asking on the Skoda Forums as there used to be issues with the Fabia and Android Auto as some didnt support it properly...
Also check for any software updates on the Infotainment System..
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
