ON HOLD 45 minutes

Please explain why i'm still in a queue for 45 minutes to cancel my contract?

How can a organisation that makes significant amount of money not hire enough staff to answer the bleeding phone!

SO frustrating.

The day we establish a law to enable customers to cancel on line will truely be a good day.

O2's underhanded tatics can not surely go on much longer.

@Anonymous

Getting through to cancellations is the issue. That team is understaffed probably intentionally in the hope people won't hold on

I would just tell who ever answers the phone to be honest it's still O2 and you have still informed them

I found that writing to O2 using the address on page 1 of this thread was the hassle free way of cancelling my contract, no need to hang on the phone or even speak to O2.

If it's just a PAC code even live chat should be able to manage that or failing that I guess you can email them

The time for retentions is longer than normal due to the recent announcement of O2 increasing prices in March.

I manage to speak to customer care in under 2 mins
Retentions in 55 mins

Pay as you go, less than 30 seconds
Pay as you go retentions, instantly

This was the other day, but you get the gist
