I just bought 2 X 24 Month iphone contracts having been assured that the O2 signal will be really good in Cheltenham where I live. It is not. It is far from good and particularly weak in my house and a friend's house some 1.5 miles away.I took the phones to a restaurant with me last night, guess what! No signal! This is appalling! Surely there must be a transmitter down? I may have to cancel these contracts.

click the t&c on the page and it will explain.

I can see no issues with the core or radio network so you should be able to make calls with no difficulties, if you are having issues then please report them to the customer service centre and give your postcode/phone type/2 or 3G issue.
Please also ensure your phone is on automatic so it changes between 2 and 3G and not just set to one or the other.
Thanks

PS, please understand that 3G cell coverage shrinks with useage, 2G doesnt.
PPS, ok who brought this original one up

Also at this time of year access to some cell sites is extremely limited, I know there is one cell site down that was reported on Christmas day (can't for the life of me remember where) and engineers can't get to it till tomorrow due to restricted access. Hardly O2's fault.
