Hi O2
Is o2 wifi available on the tube (underground)??? Most networks now offer this service. If its not yet available, are there plans to implement this service in the near future?

"You can go online anywhere in those stations - in ticket halls, corridors and platforms."
No mention of anywhere else.

It's that connection that beats me tbh, but as you say, quite an engineering feat. I'm sure the tech is there though.......
On the straight sections of track, the train could use a very directional antenna to pick up a router in the previous/next station, and then, (here comes the clever, techo, need-degree-in-physics bit), since the train knows it own speed, compensate for the dopler in the signal.
Now I've solved it, you just need to get somebody else to design and build it, and get it installed

Oh and pay for it I suspect...:smileytongue:
With many of the tube stations being shut over the Christmas period and maintenance ongoing I can't see it happening anytime soon...

Well I've got a fiver or so, if you and @mi5 want to start up a cottage industry making the equipment
