Hi
We live in a village called Croft in Leicestershire and have not been able to make phone calls or send texts for 3 days/nights on any of our phones, 2 x Tesco and 1 x o2, we have checked the O2 coverage site for LE9 and it says that our area is 100% OK and its not.
I have been to the wabsite were you talk to an animated person and i might as well ask my dog for help.
Is there a real person i can talk to or is there someone on here that can shed some light on what may be happening.
Thank you

I thought giffgaff was working, but the messages were stored and not sent as i thought, anyway just spoke to someone who speaks English and they have told me, my phone is fine, the mast is fine the problem is the snow on the ground, is blocking the signal getting to our o2 phones in the village, very occasionally we get a signal that lasts about 30 seconds in which time we get a couple of messages and then the signal is lost, phone goes it to "trying to register on o2" mode.
where we live we always have 4 bars minimum and 3g always (till now) so it seems strange we are getting 2 minutes service a day, this is day 4.

Go into settings/moresettings/mobile networks/network mode and then tick GSM only.

Strange as you have a 2g mast very close to you perhaps there is a 2g mast issue the mast is shown on the coverage checker just 500meters to the north of the postcode center.
Yet all the 3g cells are over 3-4 km away http://www.o2.co.uk/coveragechecker

Hope your situation gets resolved soon. I believe there is a thaw predicted for March! (sorry:smileysad:)
