Next day delivery

Ok right now my next day delivery does not seem so next day sure there are a few hours left which it may come in but i am doubting it will. Further more it says my order is complete. Tho I have still not received my product. So how can my order be complete.

Anyone else find this annoying or had this problem.

I call for a better tracking service!

12 hours I'm never getting back.

Erm, you know you can arrange with DHL to collect at their depot at your convenience? Arguably far more convenient than staying in all day waiting, even if their depots are 30 mins drive away or so...

You're going to raise #### with them? Hmm ok.
Anyway as you've already said yourself if your delivery has left o2 it's now going to be dhl's fault if it's late etc etc. If you contact o2 they'll track your parcal with dhl and if they need to will contact them to chase things up.
If you think dhl are bad imagine if your phone was being sent with the shambles that is Royal Mail?
There's no point shouting at the operator at o2, it's not their fault and you'll probably find if you're courteous they'll be more inclined to help you.
I appreciate that DHL is largely to blame for this but a quick search of these forums shows quite clearly that the "next day delivery" promise o2 makes its customers is often not upheld because of problems with DHL.
So I think o2 has a lot to answer for, too. That they've encountered countless incidences of delayed delivery yet continue to entrust their shipments and the trust of their customers to this shambolic outfit speaks volumes.
I've been with o2 for years and I'm told that I'm a high-spend private customer (if you'd seen my bills you'd agree!) and this is far from the first time that I've been let down by deliveries from o2.
Would I prefer them to use Royal Mail? Heck yes! They do what they say they are going to do almost all the time. I've never had a delayed delivery that has been Royal Mail's fault.
I will start on the phone by being pleasant and courteous but if an offer of compensation isn't almost immediately forthcoming, I fear I'll become more irate. 12 wasted hours sitting home waiting for this deliver is NOT something I'm happy to let slide.

Next day delivery is when the order is placed before 5pm I believe. Looking on this forum you would be forgiven for believing a lot of stories about O2, but it's not exactly a reliable picture of the full story is it now?

Yes DHL are a royal pain but the amount of problems I have to deal with regarding them in a month is minimal, sometimes none at all.

I sure hope you get through to a very lenient CSA if you are after compensation, O2 stopped all goodwill credits months ago; going by what you have said I would think all that should be offered is a day's line rental.
