I have been away for the weekend and I did have my phone and tablet with me. Access to the forum was slow and full of issues. Back home now and using PC and these problems still remain ...

* Taking ages to accept my login details

* Moving from tab to tab painfully slow

* Timing out before you are able to post

* Worse than that....typing a reply to someone with loads of relevant links..and connection times out again!

(Not even sure this will post if honest)

* Posting pictures is problematic

*I just attempted to post a reply to a new topic. pressed 'post' and I was directed to login again slight_frown

@Cleoriff It is a huge problem, just not for people who don't use the End key.

End gets you to the end of a line of text, or of cells in a spreadsheet. Control and End together get you to the very end of everything you typed in a reply. an article, web page or spreadsheet data. I use it so often it is second nature.

OMG. You probably don't use the Home key either. Or any of the myriad of short cuts that are really really useful.

You perhaps don't even use the arrow keys.

Ctrl (the control key) + (that means hold it down while pressing the next key) A means select all the text where your cursor is.

Ctrl + C copies selected text.
Ctrl + V pastes the text

Ctrl +F4 closes your current tab in a browser.
Alt + F4 closes the program you are in.

Ctrl + Shift + Tab reopens the tab that you just closed by mistake.

My life would be incomplete without keyboard shortcuts.

Android onscreen keyboard is the worst attempt I've used. The keyboard on my old HTC HD2 running Windows mobile 6.5 was better. SwiftKey is my normal one, but Hackers Keyboard when I really need those shortcuts.

I do hope the above was slightly tongue in cheek @FellwalkerHappy Dance

Each to their own. As a nurse (now retired) I had no need to use any of the above. (I was probably far too busy saving lives)

I started using a PC/laptop 15 years ago. I do know the shortcuts that are relevant to my personal use. I have never used the end key.

I rarely use my phone for any type of office work and have no need to devise spreadsheets.

That being so... I could probably beat you hands down with the set up (and use) of any type of technological medical device. CPR anyone? Dance

Hi @Fellwalker, I'll look into this. We do want to try and use the product mentions feature more and more, but I would not want it to inhibit many people from posting or creating reviews and articles if I can help it!

Can others who have not commented let me know if they use this shortcut? I do not myself and never have, but getting a feel of it popularity would really help slight_smile
