Forum login timeout

It is increasingly frustrating to use this forum due to being constantly logged out.

Earlier I replied to a post in the broadband forum and came back to see if there were any replies.

Looking at my post it said it had been made 49 minutes ago yet I still had to re-login to reply to the replies!

We were told that this was going to be looked at but nothing has been done to lengthen the time out interval. I find it very frustrating especially on the mobile.

Totally concur.

 

This was to be looked at from what I was advised too !

Im glad ive got a tweak called "double @' which inputs my email address when i press the @ button twice on my mobile.

This was one of the topics during the transition to these new forums and a reason that some regulars from that time (superusers that tested the new platform) are not here anymore or visit infrequently.

 

The issue though is not that it is the forum timeout settings but that of myo2 timeout.

 

This is the reason for the posts about webmail not allowing posters to post and losing 30 mins of typing.

 

Please o2 look at the whole implication of this short Time out period.

 

But we all remember what theses forums were like (thoses 2 year and older members) before the linking to myo2 login (Spam Spam Spam)

 

Lets hope we get some official input from the o2 team

Another issue we are hoping you'll adopt is the lack of rich text facility on the full site when using an iphone !

The rich text editor was ok on iPhone & iPad for me until a few weeks ago then disappeared
