Calls from numbers in the UK but nowhere near where I live....

Near enough every day at 5pm I get a phone call which I never pick up as its from Swansea or Ipswich or wherever. I've been to these places but not recently and I do not know anyone there. I've looked on google and I've seen that these people are ppi or other scammers. Is there any way I can block these numbers or stop them from phoning me?
