why is it so hard to communicate with o2

I want to add a user, change bank mandate details, and get a copy of a bill.

It just seems impossible to get any information

There are plenty of weblinks back and forth but no real solutions

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

@Dessy The answer to your question is because O2 have failed miserably to support their customers during this pandemic.

The relatively recent introduction of online advisors has helped somewhat, so I will tag them and hopefully they can answer your queries. @O2Ryan or @Anonymous can you please assist?
