i have an iphone 4 bought on contract . COntract is long over and sim is expired hence i got another pay as you go sim and bought the sim back in india where the iphone is with my family.
When the sim was bought two calls were made in UK while sim was in another phone so as to provide those details in form .
Sim has active international roaming active. it has balance of more than 20 GBP
now in india i put the pay as u go sim in the phone and filled the unlocking form and got the email stating error as "The Mobile Number provided has not been registered to the IMEI provided". i have tried twice
Since being in international roaming i have tried web chat but it does not work . please help me out in this regards

O2 cannot associate the number with the IMEI of the phone you want unlocking. ie. the iphone, as the phone is being used now on a roaming network.
You will get the same answer filling the form in again and webchat is next to useless for this type of problem.n You could try the email here : https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help
