Sim Swap

Anybody any idea about the length of time it takes to do a SIM Swap?  I've been waiting for 8 hours now.  Is this normal?  I see a message telling me that the code might take 30 mins if they're busy - but as I get the reply by return I presume they are not busy.

As said it can take up to 24hrs...but is normally far quicker than that.

Have you tried turning the phone on and off again.? It has to be rebooted for the swap to finalise normally...

You'll know when it's started when the service stops in the original SIM card.

I think they always advise "up to 24 hours"

My last one, I waited this long and nothing happenned. So had to call customer services.

Not sure what happenned but it was all resolved the next morning.

As others have said. Try swithching your phone off/on every now and then.

My missus did hers last year and it was all compelte by about 10am
