Has anyone else experienced this?
I bought an iPhone 5 from the Apple store and swapped my sim over to a nano sim. My data then stopped working and I was told I had to change tariffs for it to work as the tariff was incompatible.
I changed tariffs as I was told I had to but I have now been without data for a day on my new phone and I am obviously very unhappy.
I'm pretty sure if I have had just cut my old SIM down this wouldn't have been an issue.

1 what tariff are you on?
2 Have you changed your apn's to a normal tariff from the dedicated idata apn?
The guide for the iphone 4 her has all the apn options. http://mobileguide.o2.co.uk/devices/device.jsp?deviceId=666&tab=8
If on pay monthly non iphone data bolton just get the data portion swapped to an iphone data bolton (same cost) and defaults will work as well as visual voice mail.

Was on a standard plan with a data bolt on. Was told bolt on was not an iPhone 5 bolt on and my tariff was incompatible with any bolt ons that would work.
All my settings are fine.

what apn's are you using?
Any standard plan will work as long as the correct apn's are entered

not sure but the usual issue is apn's
You will not get visual voice mail and you also need to change the mms one as well as mms size etc
P.s. glad you got it working enjoy the phone
