New Year text messages!

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi everyone, I have sent text (no more than 160 carachters)to all my friends in one go from my Iphone5 before new year 2013, the bill has came up! What do you think? They charged my for 150 texts over £80, I rang them and what do you think they said? If you send texts from your Iphone as a group the iphone converts your texts to multimedia text therefore they will charge you for sending multimedia instead of texts. Can you belive this? Anyone have the same problem?

As said many times group messages are converted into MMS messages. Turn off MMS in settings to stop this. It happens on iPhones and android phones as is a feature of the software.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
