My iphone 4 wont send sms messages

It can send imessages though

imessages has nothing to do with sms. They work differently.

imessage goes via apple message center and the phone uses either Data or wifi

SMS goes via o2.

can you make and received calls and received sms?

yes i can receive calls and sms aswell as ringing people. just cant send sms

May sound strange, but have u tried many people ?

also closing all the apps down. (Double tap the home button, holding down the app until it wobbles with a red minus sign.

also switching the phone of and on?
