Missed the date for my phone bill

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi 😞

I missed the payment on the date for my phone bill, was having some financial issues at the time. Got a msg from O2 saying I would have my phone disconnected and a charge of 407.05 due.

What do I do?? Tried calling the numbers in the message but was in queue for 15minutes on both.

Thanks!!

All you can do is speak to then,  pay the bill and ask that your contract is reinstated.

Don't use live chat.

Also, make sure you do speak to them soon or else it could lead to a default on your credit file.
The bill won't be as large if you pay the airtime costs and reinstate your contract.
Try calling early mornings as they are usually less busy times.

15 minutes really isn't very long....especially at certain times of the day.

Persevere to talk to someone to pay up.

You may find that they could work out a payment plan for you? Not saying they will but in some cases this is offered particularly if you are struggling still...

The bill you have received @Anonymous would include termination fees. If you call CS and arrange payment of the missed months, assuming it hasn't happened before, they should put you back onto your original contract.

Recommend direct debit to avoid issues in future. 😊
