I've been thinking about upgrading my Handset, and have seen all the recent threads on here and on the news about delivery times etc.
I had a look on the Apple Stores App this morning and noticed they had stock locally, booked a pick up time and now have one.
Setting up the credit agreement was straight forward and everthing emailed to me without the reams of paperwork.

What's this "stores app"? Can you check stock in stores without having to call around?

Also, If you have an ios device, and you seem them in stock on that site, use the Apple Store app, it lets you see where they're in stock and reserve for pickup. I did this on Friday and got a 256gb matte black 7 plus on the Apple upgrade programme. Then I sold my 6s plus on Gumtree for £450 and "upgraded" to a SIM only 12 month contract on a lower tariff with o2.. Obviously a credit check is required......
