The 64gb S6 is actually cheaper (at today's exchange rate) than the Note 4 was at launch.
The 32gb Edge is comparable to the Note 4 launch price.
Even the 128gb Edge is cheaper than the iPhone slight_smile

Todays exchange rate I could get the 699e model for £510 ....Sadly not expected to last...

Of course we will be ripped off and the exchange rates mean nothing.

I bet £550 will be the starting point

It's crazy how these devices cost so much here and yet in the states cost next to nothing. But still won't stop me from getting one

That isn't strictly true @Anonymous

In the US it is common practice to make a payment upfront, typically $199 - $299 and the rest is subsidised through your contact.

Here in the UK we expect the handset for free so it has to be subsidised in full via the tariff.

That said, mobile contacts are much more expensive in the US with $100 a month being fairly typical.

US prices are always advertised without sales tax too.

True...As I found out to my cost when buying a watch in the US... My fault I know... but it certainly wasn't as cheap as I first thought slight_frown
