After owning my htc one m9 for 15 days I got the dreaded frozen white screen, after taking the phone to the shop thinking this should be fine as o2 are antigenic company that looks after its customers, how wrong was I,I had to place 25 pound deposit for a loan phone to then receive a text that the problem isn't covered under warranty and I now have to phone the shop for a quote.any idea how much I'm gonna get quoted?

If that is truly the case then o2 need to explain the origins of the phone and you need to pursue this for a brand new exchange. These sharks that o2 trust to repair their phones are a complete shambles.
Google CEO O2 and fire off an email demanding answers and a replacement. I'm sure Mr Dunne would like to know how this company is tarnishing o2's reputation. Include a contact number.

I bought it from the o2 shop and yes brand new
Then what you are being told is an absolute disgrace. Motherboard tampered with? Makes you wonder what the repair section actually did!! It looks as if they are trying to charge you to repair the faulty phone you were sold in the first place...It's 15 days old....

After a long day of trying to convince o2 that I haven't taken a screwdriver to the back of my new phone, I'm still no closer to having a new handset.
I've decided that I may have to get trading standards involved, and after they have now told me about the dodgy motherboard I will only be accepting a new phone. Considering I have drove 90 miles in total, spent 55 minutes on the phone, been without a smart phone since Sunday and lost the photos from my son's christening, I think that's the least they could do.

A new phone and some form of compensation is what I would be pushing for. Did you email Ronan?
