I bought my son a second hand HTC and put an O2 pay as you go SIM in it. It all works great apart from the Internet... He can't connect at all. Any ideas?

@Anonymous I checked the fields that were available on the htc windows phone, to be honest it didn't seem to be describing the same menu/screen... As you can tell I am not up on this stuff!

You could take the phone and sim into your local O2 high street shop and a guru will help you with this.

That is my next step.... I live in a small place so wasn't just as easy as nipping in to town after work.... No gurus here

If all the settings match, reboot the phone and try again....

Is their available data allowance in the O2 tariff which I brushed upon earlier in the thread ?

I've rebooted still no change 😞 and yes his whole months allowance is still there
