Can an O2 employee confirm the day that the Z1 will ship out? (Not to be confused with the release date)

Well I've been watching this thread all week and called customer services three times to ensure my phone would def be here today as I leave the country tomorrow! Was assured it would but also offered to go to O2 shop and start over if I wasn't convinced but as they can't prove beat tariffs I stuck with online.

I ordered the black on the 12 the September, I've been with O2 12 years and don't currently have a working phone as the sound has gone on my iPhone.

I've waited 8 days patiently and guess what - my phone hasn't been dispatched!!!! I got the email we all got Monday, then I got an email 2pm yesterday to say it was dispatched. Then got a helpful but smug call from the advisor I dealt with Wednesday to say 'see don't listen to that forum nonsense'!!!

So currently waiting on them calling me back to say what's happening. My phone is coming to work but I'm going to be on leave from tonight. I fly out at 7am tomorrow so no chance to get it.

I'm really disappointed with O2.

Happy you all got your phones. Hope you enjoy them.

Is anyone else like me and still not dispatched?

Yes mate! Just called O2, got told a pack of lies about my original delivery being delayed because it wasn't the release date. I started giving him an earful and he just said the phone was released today so they are within their right to ship it today and I paid standard shipping so it can take 3-4 days to arrive.

 

11 minutes on the phone with retentions as I'm cancelling an upgrade and I got sick of queueing.

 

My family have 3 contracts and 3 PAYG with O2 and we like to be on the same network for the benefits - they are now all being moved to EE. (Hell, who doesn't love Kevin Bacon?)

 

*Edit* I ordered on the 6th September and was checking the O2 website daily waiting for the phone to appear so I am f'in furious

Glad it's not just me raging then!!! I'm going to go to p4u after work and see if they have them in stock and still offering the deal they were last week.

If they are dealing with them in date order then how on earth don't we have them! Is yours the black version too? I ordered black to avoid delays! I called them an hour ago and still waiting on a return call and furious doesn't cover it !!

Yep I ordered black just out of choice. When I get through to retentions I will let you know what they say, presumably that is my highest chance of speaking to someone that will actually be willing to do something about it.

I spoke to retentions, the guy is trying but basically his line manager is having no joy getting through to the warehouse and have sent three emails (I called two hours ago) to get an update on what's happening. I've told him I'm going to phones4u after work. I need a phone for my trip and the phone I have isn't working.

Ill let you know if I hear anymore but I've made it clear it seems to be new customers taking priority over old which is not on!

The way I'm feeling ill be changing network at phones 4u!
