Ulefone Paris Mobile Internet Settings

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello. First time since I got the phone I took it out into town, expewcting 4g and 3g to operate as the 4g icon was displaying on the top of the screen: however, I was unable to connect at any time I was out.

Back at home, wi-fi is working fine.

A look at the APN settings seem to show some gaps but before I go and make any changes can anyone advise if they have this (rather under rated imho) mobile and are able to receive 3 and 4g service.

TIA

The info we gave should connect you. Have you tried the settings exactly as the images I posted?

apn type should be: default,supl,mms
There is no need for a VPN of any description to be set.

Hi guys

sorry for the delay in updating but issue is solved slight_smile

APN settings set as per those provided here and data enabled on SIM.

The issue arose from the fact that in another menu under DATA Managment there is another box to tick allow for enabling data - without which it seems no 4g or 3g!

Thanks for the help and hopefuly this will help anyone else with this issue - seems to be common on Ulefone (and possibly other chinese brands too).

There is a slider top right.

Thank you very much - actually got that bit right already (just didn't know it was called that!).

Could I ask another daft question: how or when is the password set (and what's the default)? When I first switched on the phone I wasn't asked to enter any data, set preferred language or anything else -including a password - so a bit worried by the constant presence of a lockled padlock in the top left hand corner of the screen.
