The worst experience ever!!! Sony Xperia Z won't charge... Insurance&Warranty

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I noticed that when I put my phone on charge, switched on or off, doesn't charge. I have connected it to different chargers now, tried switching it off for an hour but nothing happens,

I tried the warranty they say they cant fix , I tried the insurance and they say they can't cover... Any ideas???

I have only had it for 5 months.

Please help. Thanks

Have you sent it in for O2 to look at it?

There is no reason this wouldn't be covered by the guarantee unless the phone is damaged.

Call O2 again, you should get another CSA who maybe will deal with it, it is not their job to make a decision over the phone.

This is not an insurance claim.

Hi Perskie,

Acctually I took the handset to the store and after a few days with a O2 Repair they came back saying that warranty does not cover this problem.

But neither the insurance is willing to assume responsability.

Meanwille I found this: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z-ZL-ZR/Xperia-Z-micro-USB-port-weak-point/td-p/307643/highligh...

I regret the day I bought Sony Xperia Z...

My contract is with O2 not with Sony.

If anyone with O2 cant handle the problem, I do believe it is O2 responsability to handle this situation with Sony.

Well you got no satisfaction with O2. So are you going to accept the situation or take advice given in good faith. Up to you at the end of the day.

It's no time to be on a high horse, send it to Sony and if they can fix it ok and send you a report, you can then raise a complaint with O2.

Failing that you're getting nowhere.
